Roller exactly 1 year old - a short status report

Hello,

my scooter is now exactly 1 year old. In that time I have learned many important things about absolutely electric scooters and most of all LiFePo-cell whose characteristics and their care.
I have invested a lot of time and effort in crafting and trying to avoid the worst mistakes. In conclusion I would say two things:
  1. My scooter is one year and more than 4,500 kilometers still doing well, so I know what the life of the batteries among others is concerned, am optimistic for the future.
  2. Hi,

meantime I could help with the live monitoring my cell find that cell 2 is definitely damaged severely. After 25km journey of two people, the cell has already been permanently weaker than everyone else. About the last 6km of the cell was below the then generally regarded as unhealthy 2.7 to 2.5 volt threshold. On the last kilometer along the tension then broke completely and ended at 1 volt.
had that, I reached my destination and was able to reload.
On the way back it did not fall below the 2.7 volts, because, in contrast to the trend one way downhill and not uphill left.
(all other cells are healthy)

Conclusion: The cell is running on routes under 35 miles on a single person crew still reasonably with normal (over 2.7 V). For heavier loads, but then is probably a quick death of the cell to be expected.


Perhaps this was a cell has always been a little weaker, or was damaged in the winter without being noticed. I have to say that these same cell is not triggered by my BMS and was thus perhaps influence this development was poor.
